Five Indian Cricketers Who Never Played Against Zimbabwe
India and Zimbabwe are both cricketing nations that have maintained a good relationship over the years.
India usually sends a second-string team to Zimbabwe, treating it as a nursery ground for their fringe and upcoming talents, while allowing their hosts a good cash inflow plus a competitive test.
Despite the tours, five Indian cricketers—Ishant Sharma, S Sreesanth, Wriddhiman Saha, Munaf Patel, and Praveen Kumar—never got the chance to play against Zimbabwe.
Ishant Sharma had a long Test career but missed the white-ball tours due to injuries.
S Sreesanth was part of India's World Cup-winning squads but wasn't selected for the Zimbabwe tour.
Wriddhiman Saha's ODI career overlapped with India's 2013 tour but he wasn't chosen.
Munaf Patel and Praveen Kumar also never faced Zimbabwe during their international careers.
