AP CID Arrests Man in Fake Government Job Fraud

Police in Andhra Pradesh arrested Saladi Ram Gopal over an alleged fake government job scheme.

Investigators say he advertised jobs linked to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in 2021.

He allegedly contacted applicants through a fake email address and asked them for money.

He is accused of creating fake government notices, interview letters, appointment orders and training papers.

Some applicants reportedly visited an office building in Mangalagiri because they believed the papers were real.

Police say nearly 60 people lost about Rs 93 lakh.

The accused allegedly used other people’s bank accounts and ATM cards to collect the money.

Police are checking whether he was involved in more cases and where the money went.
