BLW Enhances Sanitation and Expands Train Service
BLW, a part of the Indian Railways, is making changes to make things better.
They are putting in urinals that don't use water in some of their trains, which helps save water and keep things cleaner.
This is part of a bigger plan to be environmentally friendly and clean.
Also, because lots of people want to travel between Agra and Varanasi, the railway is making the Vande Bharat Express train longer, so more people can ride on it.
BLW implemented waterless urinals in 37 WAG-9 and two WAP-7 locomotives.
The waterless urinals aim to improve sanitation for railway staff.
The project aligns with the 'Swachh Bharat Mission' and 'Green Rail' initiative.
NCR increased the Vande Bharat Express trainset from 8 to 16 carriages.
