Nashik Plans Ganesh Mandal Volunteers For MahaSimhastha 2027
Nashik is preparing for a very large religious gathering called the Simhastha Kumbh Mela in 2027.
Many devotees are expected to visit the city and nearby places.
The administration is considering asking Ganesh festival volunteers to help.
These volunteers already have experience handling large crowds and processions.
They may guide visitors and help control traffic.
They could also help find missing people and support cleanliness and emergencies.
Training may be provided before the event.
Volunteers may work at important places such as Panchavati, Ramkund and Trimbakeshwar.
Officials say their community connections could make the gathering safer and easier to manage.

Volunteers could be deployed at Panchavati, Tapovan, Ramkund, Sadhugram, Trimbakeshwar and busy pilgrim routes.
