Former Women Maoists Walk Fashion Ramp in Chhattisgarh

Some women used to live in the forests and were part of a group called the Maoists, known for armed conflict.

Now, those women have decided to leave that life behind and start fresh.

In a city called Raipur, they took part in a big event celebrating handmade clothes.

They walked down a special stage called a fashion ramp, wearing beautiful Kosa silk dresses woven by hand.

Everyone in the audience clapped for them because they looked so confident.

The show was part of National Handloom Day, which honors people who make cloth by hand.

The leader of Chhattisgarh, Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai, came to meet the women and wish them good luck.

Many people watched the video of the show online and said it was amazing to see the women living a new, happier life.

This shows that people can change and find new opportunities after leaving conflict behind.
