Bengal Orders Daily Dengue Reporting as Cases Rise

Bengal Orders Daily Dengue Reporting as Cases Rise

Dengue cases and fever cases are increasing in several districts of Bengal.

The government has told hospitals and testing centres to report dengue patients every day.

These reports will include where patients live and how authorities can contact them.

Officials will use the information to look for mosquito-breeding places near affected homes.

They will also share medical information and arrange follow-up help.

Hospitals must keep enough testing kits, medicines and blood platelets.

Special teams will visit hospitals with many dengue patients.

Health workers will also inspect areas where mosquitoes may be breeding and organize clean-up drives.

The instructions will remain in place until October 15.
