Laxmibai Nagar Station Operational From February 2026
The Laxmibai Nagar Railway Station in Indore is getting a big upgrade.
It will be ready to use by February 2026.
The government is spending Rs 55 crore to make it better.
They are adding new platforms and tracks so more trains can run smoothly.
There will also be a new foot overbridge and lifts for passengers.
This is important because a lot of people will be traveling during the Simhastha Kumbh Mela.
The station will help manage the crowd and make travel easier.
Laxmibai Nagar Railway Station to be operational from February 2026.
Redevelopment cost estimated at Rs 55 crore, with Rs 45 crore for the station building and Rs 10 crore for the foot overbridge.
Around 300 trains expected to operate on the Indore-Ujjain rail section during the Simhastha Kumbh Mela.
Station currently has three platforms, with two new platforms and two additional tracks under construction.
A 36-foot-wide foot overbridge and three new lifts are being installed for passenger convenience.
