United Baloch Army Claims Responsibility for Bridge Blast in Pakistan

United Baloch Army Claims Responsibility for Bridge Blast in Pakistan

A group called the United Baloch Army blew up a bridge in Balochistan, a huge province in Pakistan.

The group used explosives to stop the Pakistani army from moving trucks and supplies along that road.

The bridge is now broken, so vehicles cannot cross it anymore.

The group said it wants Balochistan to become its own separate country.

Balochistan is the largest province in Pakistan but also the poorest.

Many people there are unhappy because they feel the government takes the province's valuable resources without sharing the benefits.

Balochistan celebrates its own Independence Day because its people declared independence on August 11 in 1947.

Some people in Balochistan use weapons because they want change, while others ask for better rights peacefully.
