Man arrested for alleged murder of younger brother in Baguiati
Police arrested a 33-year-old man named Krishna after his younger brother, Balaram, died from head injuries.
The incident happened at the brothers’ home in Baguiati on Sunday morning.
Krishna reportedly told police that robbers had attacked the house.
Police found the cupboards disturbed, but they did not find signs that someone had broken in.
Their suspicions grew because the parents in the next room reportedly heard nothing.
The family dog also did not raise an alarm.
Police said Krishna later confessed after questioning.
Investigators believe a dispute over property may have been the reason.
They are seeking more time with him to find the alleged weapon and valuables said to be missing.
