India Challenges Pakistan at UN Over Jammu and Kashmir

India and Pakistan disagreed about Jammu and Kashmir at a United Nations meeting.

Pakistan's delegate raised the issue, and India replied.

India's representative, Bhavika Mangalanandan, said Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are parts of India.

She also criticized Pakistan's civilian governments and said the army has great influence over them.

India accused Pakistan of supporting terrorism and mistreating people in areas it controls.

These accusations were India's statements at the meeting.

India also pointed to elections held in Jammu and Kashmir in 2024 and said power passed peacefully to an elected government.

The articles do not give Pakistan's detailed response to India's reply.
