Police in Gurugram arrested a 29-year-old man named Adnan Khan.

The woman said she first met him through Instagram and at a programme in Lucknow.

She said he later invited her to Gurugram, saying he would help her find a job.

According to her complaint, he gave her a cold drink with an intoxicating substance and raped her.

She also said he threatened to kill her if she told anyone.

A police report was first filed in Lucknow and then transferred to Gurugram because the alleged incident happened there.

Khan was sent to judicial custody, and police said their investigation was continuing.

The allegations have not been established in court.
