Google Expands AI in Education
Google is giving a lot of money to help schools in India use AI.
They want to make learning better by adding AI to things like online classes and health trackers.
This will help students learn in their own language and get better at things like reading and speaking English.
Google is also working with a university to show how AI can make education better for everyone, no matter where they live.
They want to make sure all students have the skills they need to get good jobs.
Google.org granted ₹85 crore to Wadhwani AI to integrate AI into India's public education ecosystem.
The investment aims to reach 75 million students and 1.8 million educators by December 2027.
AI will be integrated into platforms like SWAYAM and POSHAN Tracker to provide personalized learning support.
India's first AI-enabled university will be launched at Chaudhary Charan Singh University, focusing on vocational training and administrative efficiency.
The initiative aims to bridge the digital divide and make education more accessible in regional languages.
