Andhra CM Naidu Calls For Statewide Nation-Building Programme Drive
The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Naidu, wants everyone to work together to make the state and the country better.
He met with government officials and asked them to include ordinary people in a programme called 'Partners in Nation-Building'.
The idea is that when government services reach people, it helps build the nation.
He also wants roads with potholes to be fixed everywhere in the state.
He calls this the 'road doctor' plan, and his mission is to have zero potholes.
He was happy that many people came to the opening of a new airport, because it shows people support good work.
He asked officials to share true facts with people about different issues.
He mentioned teachers who marched to support their own jobs and the government.
The state's economy grew by 10.70 per cent in July.
He warned that a weather pattern called El Niño may cause more problems soon, so everyone should be prepared.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu called for statewide participation in the 'Partners in Nation-Building' programme at a review meeting with senior officials at the Secretariat.
He directed the expansion of the 'Road Doctor' initiative with a 'Zero Pothole Mission' to repair potholed roads across Andhra Pradesh.
Naidu cited large public turnout at the inauguration of the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport in Bhogapuram as proof that people support good governance.
Andhra Pradesh recorded a 10.70 per cent economic growth rate in July, but Naidu cautioned that El Niño's impact is expected to intensify.
He praised Mega DSC-2025 teachers' 'self-respect rally' in Kurnool defending their merit-based selections against YSRC's allegations of recruitment irregularities.
