New Bay of Bengal Low Extends Tropical Disturbance Relay

New Bay of Bengal Low Extends Tropical Disturbance Relay

A new area of low air pressure has formed over the Bay of Bengal.

Low-pressure areas can bring clouds, wind and rain.

Other tropical storms are active farther east near the Pacific and South China Sea.

Their movement may send more weather disturbances toward India.

Tropical Storm Narra is expected to remain near Vietnam until Wednesday.

The monsoon winds can help these disturbances grow after they reach the Bay.

The India Meteorological Department expects heavy rain in many parts of India.

Odisha, northeastern states, central India and parts of southern and western India are among the areas named in the forecast.

Some places could receive very heavy rain on isolated occasions.
