Five ChatGPT Prompts Create Kerala Retro Photos Across Decades
People are using ChatGPT to make new photos look like old Kerala photographs.
They can choose a style from the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s or 1990s.
Each decade can have different clothes, hairstyles, jewellery and home settings.
The prompts can also add film grain, faded colours and soft lighting.
These details make the picture look like it came from an old camera or family album.
Users can ask ChatGPT to keep the person’s face and identity recognizable.
They should also tell it to remove modern objects and clothing.
Choosing a specific year or decade usually works better than only saying “make it vintage.”
The viral ChatGPT retro-photo trend is being adapted to Kerala and Malayali cultural styles.
Prompts can recreate photographs inspired by the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s or 1990s.
Users can specify period clothing, hairstyles, jewellery, homes, lighting and analogue photo textures.
The prompts emphasize preserving a person’s identity, facial features, skin tone and age.
Clear decade-specific details generally produce more realistic results than simply requesting an old-looking photograph.
