Delhi Metro Closes 18 Stations Amid Protests

Delhi Metro Closes 18 Stations Amid Protests

The Delhi Metro is closing 18 stations on Saturday, July 25.

This is to fix and improve the metro system and to help with security during student protests.

Some passengers are upset because it will make their travel harder and more expensive.

They have to take cabs, which cost more.

Some people think offices should let employees work from home because of this problem.

The metro stations Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House, and Central Secretariat will still be open for changing lines.

The Airport Express Line will also be limited, running only between Dhaula Kuan and Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25.
