PM Modi Arrives in Armoured Range Rover Sentinel at Red Fort
Every year, India celebrates Independence Day with a big ceremony at Red Fort.
In 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived there in a very special car called the Range Rover Sentinel.
This car looks like a fancy luxury SUV, but it is actually a super-safe armoured vehicle.
It is built with strong armour and special security features to protect very important people, called VVIPs.
Mr Modi has used this same tough car for Independence Day every year since 2023.
This year marked the 80th time India celebrated becoming independent.
The Sentinel is part of India's most secure convoy, which keeps the Prime Minister safe.
Most people will never see a car like this one anywhere else.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Red Fort in a Range Rover Sentinel for the 80th Independence Day celebrations.
The armoured SUV has been part of his convoy for every Independence Day since 2023.
The Range Rover Sentinel is a purpose-built protection vehicle developed specifically for VVIP transport.
