Andhra Pradesh Launches Dolphin Watching and Jungle Safari
Andhra Pradesh is planning two new tourism projects to attract more visitors.
The first is a dolphin-watching tour in Visakhapatnam, where tourists can see dolphins in the ocean early in the morning.
The second is a jungle safari in Maredumilli, a forested area, where people can see wild animals and birds in their natural habitat.
Both projects aim to provide fun experiences while protecting the environment.

Andhra Pradesh is launching dolphin-watching tours at Rushikonda Beach, Visakhapatnam, where boats will take tourists 1.5-2 km into the ocean between 7-8 am to see dolphins.
A jungle safari is being revived in Maredumilli’s forests, covering 60 acres, with protected enclosures and designated vehicle routes to ensure safety and wildlife preservation.
Both projects focus on eco-tourism, aiming to provide immersive wildlife experiences without harming the ecosystem.
Local communities, including tribal residents, will be trained and employed in hospitality, wildlife protection, and other services related to the tourism projects.
The initiatives are part of Andhra Pradesh’s larger vision to position itself as a global eco-tourism destination, competing with states like Kerala, Karnataka, and Goa.
