Jharkhand Exam Scam Probe Questions Over 100 Candidates
Investigators in Jharkhand are looking into claims that some examination selections may have been arranged unfairly.

The investigation is focused on exams run by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission.
A former government officer and examination-agency employee, Abhay Tiwari, is an important source of information for investigators.
Officials are checking claims that people were asked for large amounts of money to help candidates pass different stages.
They are also studying whether computers or remote access were used to help candidates in a teacher recruitment test.
Tiwari's brother and wife have been arrested in the case.
Opposition parties and student groups want the Central Bureau of Investigation to take over, while the CID-SIT continues its inquiry.
The CID-Special Investigation Team has questioned more than 100 candidates in the alleged JPSC-JSSC examination irregularities case.
About 20 additional candidates were issued notices to appear for questioning on Tuesday.
Investigators are examining alleged selection deals ranging from ₹5 lakh for preliminary clearance to ₹40-60 lakh for final civil-services selection.
