Ford Employee Sues After Firing Over $1.95 Cookie Theft

A man named Kurt Kromm worked at a Ford factory for 11 years.

One night, he bought a packet of cookies for $1.95, but the payment machine didn't show if it went through.

A week later, Ford fired him for stealing the cookies.

Later, Kromm showed bank records proving he paid.

Ford offered to give him his job back and paid him $33,000, but Kromm refused and is now suing Ford and the food company, Aramark.

He feels they treated him unfairly and didn't apologize enough.
