Jaishankar Sees Technology Driving Broader India-Europe Partnership

S. Jaishankar said India and Europe can work together in more ways than just buying and selling things.

He named areas such as artificial intelligence, computer chips, space, medicine and defence.

He said India and Europe have some similar ideas about AI and should pay attention to its safety.

He also said companies’ work centres in India can connect the two economies.

Working together on medicines could help make supplies more reliable.

Jaishankar said countries are building relationships with different partners as the world changes.

He called this approach multi-alignment.
