Colorado UFO videos remain classified despite Trump whistleblower order
Sometime in 2023, a soldier used their personal phone to record a strange object in the sky over a military base in Colorado.
According to a news report, the video seems to show a huge black triangle, about 100 feet long, moving over the mountains and hiding inside clouds.
The video was taken on two nights in a row.
Even though the President of the United States, Donald Trump, made a new order to encourage people with secret knowledge to come forward, the Air Force still says this video is secret.
That means people cannot watch it and experts cannot check if it is real.
Some former workers, like Dylan Borland and Matthew Brown, say the President's order does not really help.
They say people who know about secret flying objects still cannot talk about them without getting in trouble.
But another former officer, David Grusch, says he is happy about the order and hopes it gives brave people courage.
The whole debate is about whether what the whistleblowers say is true, because the most important proof is still locked away.
Two classified videos allegedly show a roughly 100-foot black triangular craft over a Colorado military base.
The videos were reportedly recorded on a service member's personal cellphone on two consecutive nights in 2023.
The footage remains classified by the US Air Force and is held by the Air Force Office of Special Investigations in Colorado.
Whistleblowers Dylan Borland and Matthew Brown say President Trump's disclosure order changes nothing for those who want to speak publicly.
Former Air Force intelligence officer David Grusch welcomed the directive, hoping it encourages others under nondisclosure agreements to come forward.
