Niloufer Hospital: Patient Attendants to Get Shelter
Imagine a hospital where people who come to take care of sick family members have nowhere to stay.
That's what was happening at Niloufer Hospital.
The government has decided to help!
They are going to change an empty building with 72 rooms into a place where these helpers can rest.
The Health Minister saw that these people, many from the countryside, were waiting outside the hospital without any shelter.
So, he decided to fix it.
At a meeting, the minister and other important people in the health department talked about this and other hospital services.
This means families will have a better place to stay while they help their loved ones get better.
A dharamshala with 72 rooms will be used to house patient attendants.
The decision was made at a review meeting on Friday.
Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha chaired the meeting.
