IIT Indore Open House Announces 2026 Chemical Conclave
IIT Indore held an event to help chemical engineering students learn about study and career opportunities.
Teachers explained the department’s research projects and important new areas.
Satish Agrawal from TotalEnergies spoke about working in chemical engineering.
Students asked questions about oil and gas, renewable energy and different careers.
IIT Indore also announced another event called the Malwa Chemical Conclave.
It is planned for October 12, 2026.
The conclave will bring together teachers, companies and policymakers.
Students may attend talks, workshops, poster sessions and laboratory tours.
IIT Indore’s Chemical Engineering Department held its biannual open house with TotalEnergies asset manager Satish Agrawal as keynote speaker.
Faculty members presented research activities to MTech, BTech and PhD students, including newly admitted students in the Chemical Processes Design and Intelligence programme.
Agrawal discussed careers in chemical engineering, oil and gas, renewable energy and industry skill requirements.
The department announced the second Malwa Chemical Conclave, scheduled for October 12, 2026, at IIT Indore.
