MP Rajender demands revamp of underutilized Suchitra station
A local leader named Eatala Rajender visited a railway station called Suchitra in Hyderabad.
He noticed that the station is not being used much even though a lot of money was spent on it.
He asked the railway officials to make a plan to improve the station.
People don't use the station because they don't know about it and it's hard to get to.
The leader promised to ask for more trains and better buses to the station.
After that, he visited some neighborhoods where there are big problems with water flooding because of bad drains.
He promised to work with the city and defense officials to fix the drainage problems.
MP Eatala Rajender visited Suchitra Centre Railway Station, which has been underutilized for nearly a year and a half.
He directed railway officials to prepare a report on interventions needed to make the station a viable transport hub.
Issues identified include lack of public awareness, poor last-mile connectivity, and inadequate passenger amenities.
