Railway Work Disrupts Mumbai Train Services

Railway Work Disrupts Mumbai Train Services
Railway repair work at Mumbai LTT to disrupt train services · thehansindia.com

The Central Railway and Western Railway in Mumbai are doing some important repair and maintenance work.

Because of this, some train services will be changed.

On the Central Railway, the Netravati Express and Matsyagandha Express will not go all the way to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT).

Instead, they will start and end at Panvel from January 1 to January 30, 2026.

This means people traveling between Mumbai and places like Karnataka and Kerala will have to change their plans.

On the Western Railway, two trains, the Nandurbar–Borivali Express and the Ahmedabad–Borivali Express, will short terminate at Vasai Road until January 17, 2026.

Also, two MEMU services will be merged to operate as a single Virar–Surat MEMU service starting from January 3, 2026.

The railway companies are sorry for the trouble and ask passengers to check the new schedules before traveling.
