Rijiju meets Rahul Gandhi to break Parliament deadlock

Rijiju meets Rahul Gandhi to break Parliament deadlock

In India, a big meeting place called Parliament makes laws for the country.

One part of it is called the Lok Sabha.

Recently, members who disagree with the government were shouting and holding up signs during meetings.

They wanted attention for issues they care about, like how police treated some students.

Because of the noise, important question time, called Question Hour, could not happen.

One person in charge, Kiren Rijiju, went to talk to Rahul Gandhi, who leads the group that disagrees with the government, to try to make things better.

The person who runs Lok Sabha meetings, Om Birla, said shouting is not good and makes the meeting less respected.

He asked everyone to sit quietly so Question Hour could start.

Some new laws were passed without discussion because of the noise.

Everyone is still trying to fix the problem so the meetings can continue peacefully.
