National Lok Adalat in Telangana Settles Over 11 Lakh Cases
The National Lok Adalat, a special court, helped to solve over 11 lakh cases in Telangana.
People involved in these cases were given about Rs 595 crore in compensation.
One road accident case, which started in 2016, was settled where a student was given Rs 1.2 crore.
The goal was to find quick resolutions and provide justice for everyone involved.
National Lok Adalat settled 11,06,347 cases in Telangana.
The settlements included 3,63,156 pre-litigation and 7,43,191 pending court cases.
Approximately Rs 595 crore was awarded in compensation.
A road accident compensation case from 2016 was settled for Rs 1.2 crore.
The Lok Adalat was inaugurated at Nirmal district by Justice P. Sam Koshy.
