Honda Unveils 660HP Prelude GT500 Race Car for 2026
Honda is making a new race car called the Prelude GT500!
It's super powerful, with 660 horsepower, and will race in Japan's Super GT series starting in 2026.
Unlike the road-going Prelude, this car is built just for racing and won't be sold to regular people.
The GT500 replaces the Civic Type R GT500, which hasn't won many races.
Honda hopes this new car, developed by its racing team HRC, will help them beat rivals like Toyota and Nissan.
It features a carbon-fiber body and is rear-wheel drive.
Racing teams and professional drivers will drive the new Prelude, and lessons learned might influence future Honda cars.
