ASR district tops all three Jaladhara-Jalaharathi categories in State
A district in India worked very hard to save water, and it won first prize.
The district is called Alluri Sitarama Raju, and it came first in the whole state in a water-saving programme.
The programme is called Jaladhara-Jalaharathi.
The district did the best job in three ways: it started the most projects, created the most new water storage, and reached the goals it promised.
