LIC Housing Finance Q1 PAT Rises 9.4% to ₹1,488 Cr
LIC Housing Finance is a company that helps people buy houses.
In the first quarter of its 2027 financial year, it made more money than last year, earning ₹1,488 crore.
It gave out more loans, especially for projects, which helped it grow.
The money it earned from interest stayed about the same, but its overall revenue went down a little.
The company’s loan books got bigger and safer, with fewer bad loans.
The boss said the company expects good conditions for the housing market because interest rates are steady and India is growing.
LIC Housing Finance reported a 9.4% year‑on‑year rise in Q1 FY27 PAT to ₹1,488 crore.
Total loan disbursements grew 14.5% to ₹15,014 crore, with project loans surging 459%.
Revenue slipped 1% to ₹7,062 crore, while net interest income remained stable at ₹2,076 crore.
Outstanding loan portfolio expanded 4% to ₹3,22,098 crore, with improved asset quality and lower ECL provisions.
Management expects a stable interest‑rate environment and India’s growth momentum to support the housing‑finance sector.
