Family Accepts Body of Meitei Man Killed in Manipur
A man named Mayanglambam Rishikanta Singh was killed by some militants in Manipur.
His family was very sad and did not want to take his body at first.
They wanted the people who did this to be punished.
The government promised to investigate and give the family some help.
After talking to everyone, the family decided to take the body to perform the last rites.
But they said they will keep asking for justice until the guilty people are caught.
Some people also think the man's wife might have been involved, but the police have not said anything about that yet.
The family of Mayanglambam Rishikanta Singh accepted his body from JNIMS mortuary after assurances from the state government.
The Joint Action Committee (JAC) will continue their agitation until the perpetrators are arrested and punished.
