Ancelotti Says Brazil Must Keep Football’s Joy Alive
Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti wants his players to keep enjoying football.
He also said commitment and skill matter.
He thinks pressure can make players forget that football is a sport.
Brazil is playing friendly matches in Australia and India with a new group of players.
Ancelotti called the tour an opportunity to help the team improve, not a test.
Many players in the group had not played for Brazil before the tour.
He did not say which players would start against India.
He said Brazil needs to use this time to prepare for the future.
Carlo Ancelotti said commitment, quality and happiness in playing football are qualities he wants Brazil to retain.
He said the team’s tour of Australia and India is an opportunity for a new-look squad, not a test.
Brazil’s squad included only eight players who had played for the team at the recent World Cup; 12 players were uncapped before the Australian leg.
