Delhi Eases GRAP-4 Restrictions as AQI Improves
Delhi's air quality has gotten better, so the government has lifted some strict pollution rules.
This means that vehicles that don't meet the newest pollution standards can now enter Delhi, but they still need to have a pollution check certificate to get fuel.
Schools for younger kids are still online, and older students are in hybrid mode.
The government is watching the air quality closely to decide if more changes are needed.
People are asked to follow the remaining pollution rules to keep the air clean.
Delhi's AQI improved to 271 (Poor) from 412 (Severe), leading to the revocation of GRAP-4 restrictions.
Non-Delhi vehicles below BS-VI emission standards are now allowed to enter Delhi.
Schools for nursery to Class 5 remain online, while Classes 6-9 and 11 operate in hybrid mode.
GRAP Stages I, II, and III continue to enforce restrictions on construction and vehicle entry.
Non-essential construction and demolition activities are banned under GRAP-III.
