Buying a MacBook in Vietnam Cheaper Than India?
Someone wanted a new MacBook, and they found out it could be cheaper to buy it in Vietnam than in India.
They went to Vietnam, got the laptop, and also enjoyed a short vacation.
They saved money on the laptop because of tax refunds.
However, the savings aren't always huge, especially if you can get discounts in India too.
If you like budget travel, it can still be a good deal.
A Reddit user traveled to Vietnam to buy a MacBook and save money compared to purchasing it in India.
The user saved approximately Rs 36,500 on the MacBook purchase after a VAT refund in Vietnam.
The trip to Vietnam, including the MacBook, cost the user around Rs 197,000 after the tax refund.
Buying a MacBook in Vietnam may not be significantly cheaper than in India, especially with Indian discounts.
The total cost varies based on travel style, potentially costing from Rs 1.88 lakh to over Rs 2.20 lakh.
