Warkaris Embark on Spiritual Foot Pilgrimage to Pandharpur
Imagine a very long walk, like a really, really big hike, that's also a party for the soul.
Over 700 people, called warkaris, are walking almost 1,300 kilometers to a special town called Pandharpur.
They're doing it to show their love for God and to learn about important values like being kind and helping each other.
Along the way, they sing songs, share food, and learn from each other.
It's been happening every year for 56 years, no matter what the weather is like!
This walk is like a traveling school that teaches people about being good and staying strong in their beliefs.
Over 700 warkaris began their annual foot pilgrimage from Shegaon to Pandharpur.
The journey spans 1,275 km, with 725 km to Pandharpur and 550 km on the return.
