Dupahiya 2 Review: Paper Leak Plot Lacks Comic Punch
Dupahiya 2 is a comedy-drama set in a fictional village.
The story follows Roshini, who wants to pass an important exam.
Her family supports her, but leaked exam papers make the situation difficult.
A mobile tower plan also causes disagreement among villagers.
The village leader, police and several other people become involved.
The show still has funny characters and village politics.
However, the jokes are not as strong or frequent as they were in the first season.
The story becomes more serious when an exam-taker is badly hurt.
The review says some actors perform well, but the season does not have enough impact.
Dupahiya 2 returns with Gajraj Rao, Sparsh Srivastava and much of the original cast.
The new season follows Roshini’s attempt to pass an exam amid leaked papers and corruption.
A proposed mobile tower creates a conflict over land, money and village politics.
The review finds the early episodes slow and the comedy less effective than in season one.
The film praises several performances but rates Dupahiya 2 at 2.5 stars.
