Pune Flat Listing Sparks Bengaluru Rent Debate Online
An engineer saw an online advertisement for a room in Pune and was surprised by its price.
The room was in a furnished three-bedroom home.
It had large windows, a balcony, and a view of greenery.
The advertised room rent was Rs 9,000 per month.
Other costs brought the monthly total to about Rs 15,500.
These costs included things such as a maid, cook, washing machine, and fridge.
The engineer compared the price with expensive housing in Bengaluru.
People online debated whether the price was low because of the location and whether housing prices might eventually fall.

The listing offered a room in a fully furnished 3BHK flat with two windows and an attached balcony.
The room’s rent was described as Rs 9,000 monthly, while total monthly costs were around Rs 15,500 with household services and appliances.
The listing was reportedly for Blue Ridge Township, though some users questioned whether the location could instead be farther from central Pune.
