UP Expands Job Opportunities in Medical, Police, and Census Sectors

The Uttar Pradesh government is planning to hire about 1,200 people for teaching and technical jobs in government medical colleges.

These jobs include positions like Assistant Professor, Professor, and Lecturer in Pharmacy.

The goal is to improve medical education and healthcare services in the state.

The Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, has directed that all vacant posts be filled to create more job opportunities for the youth.

Additionally, 1,230 nursing officers will soon receive their appointment letters.

The government is also preparing for the Census-2027, which will be conducted in two phases.

The first phase, House Listing and Housing Census (HLO), will take place in May-June 2026.

About 600,000 personnel will be deployed for this phase, and all data collection and entry will be done digitally.

The government has also announced a three-year age relaxation for candidates applying for 32,679 police jobs, making it easier for young people to apply.

This initiative aims to ensure that medical colleges have qualified teachers and trained staff, which will help produce skilled doctors and healthcare professionals.

The state government is also committed to supporting young job aspirants in the police sector.
