WWDC 2025: Apple Watch Set for Major watchOS 26 Update
Apple's yearly developer conference, WWDC, is coming up!
Apple Watch is getting a big update.
watchOS 26 will let you add your own apps to the Control Centre, where you have quick settings.
You will also see updates powered by Apple Intelligence for the Apple Watch, but it will not run the AI models directly.
A feature from the iPhone called Live Listen will be available, which allows Live Captions for Apple Watch users.
The names of the OS versions may change, following a year-based naming strategy like iOS 26.
watchOS 26 will allow third-party widgets in the Apple Watch Control Center.
Users can customize Control Center layouts on the iPhone.
The OS updates might shift from version numbers to year-based names, such as iOS 26.
Apple Watch is expected to gain Apple Intelligence features.
Live Captions for Live Listen will be available on the Apple Watch.
