Prashant Kishor takes oath as Bankipur MLA in Bihar Assembly
Prashant Kishor is a man who helps political parties win elections.
He started a new political group called the Jan Suraaj Party.
On Monday, he became a member of the Bihar Assembly.
This means he is now an MLA, a person who represents people in the state government.
He took an oath in front of the Speaker of the Assembly, Prem Kumar.
The oath happened in Patna, the capital of Bihar.
Kishor said it is a great honour to be part of the Assembly.
He said many famous leaders were members of this House before him.
He also said being an MLA is a big responsibility.
He promised to try to live up to people's expectations.
Prashant Kishor took the oath as the MLA of Bankipur at the Bihar Legislative Assembly on Monday.
Kishor is the founder of the Jan Suraaj Party (JSP).
He took the oath in the presence of Speaker Prem Kumar in Patna.
Kishor called being part of the House 'a matter of great honour'.
He said being a member of the Bihar Assembly brings a big responsibility and he will try to live up to people's expectations.
