Apartment Owners Seek Action Over Srinagar Colony Encroachments
People who live at Katuru Niwas say building materials are being left in their backyard.
They say materials are also piled in a nearby lane.
Sellers sometimes sit in the lane, too.
The residents say this makes it harder for cars to pass.
They also say people walking nearby are inconvenienced.
The letter says GHMC staff know about the situation but have not acted.
Katuru Durga Prasad Rao is asking GHMC to clear the materials.
He also wants officials to keep checking the area so the roads can be used freely.
Katuru Niwas apartment owners say construction materials have been stored in their backyard for several months.
The materials reportedly include sand, red sand, concrete chips and bricks.
The adjacent lane is also used to store construction materials, with sellers sitting there.
The letter says the storage and sellers obstruct vehicle traffic and inconvenience pedestrians.
Katuru Durga Prasad Rao asks GHMC to remove the encroachments and monitor the area.
