India-Bangladesh Cricket Ties Uncertain Amid Political Crisis
India and Bangladesh were supposed to play cricket matches in September 2025, but because of some political problems, the Indian cricket board (BCCI) has decided to wait for the government's approval before making a final decision.
This has made people worry that the two countries might not play each other in their own countries anymore and might have to meet only in big international events at neutral places.
The Bangladesh cricket board (BCB) had already announced the series, but now everything is on hold.
Additionally, the BCCI ordered the release of Bangladesh player Mustafizur Rahman from the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) squad for the IPL 2026 season, which has caused further controversy.
