Russia Claims Capture of Siversk

Russian leaders told President Putin that they have taken control of a town called Siversk in eastern Ukraine.

This town had a lot of people before the war, over 10,000.

The Russians said they won by cutting off supplies and attacking from different sides.

Putin was happy and congratulated the soldiers.

They plan to move next to a bigger city called Sloviansk.

However, Ukraine says they still control Siversk and have even retaken parts of another town called Kupiansk, surrounding Russian soldiers there.

Both sides are saying different things about who controls which towns, and it's not clear yet who is telling the truth.

The fighting continues, and both sides are trying to gain an advantage.
