Meta unveils Muse personal superintelligence vision and keychain device
Meta showed how its Muse AI assistant could become much more helpful.
Mark Zuckerberg said Muse may eventually act like a personal helper that works around the clock.
It could help people solve problems, plan trips, negotiate bills, and shop.
Muse can now use computer applications on Mac computers when users give permission.
Meta also added connections to several shopping companies.
Because Muse and Meta’s smart glasses handle personal information, Meta announced stronger privacy tools.
One planned system is designed so even Meta cannot see certain user data.
Meta also showed Muse Charm, a small keychain device that lets people talk to Muse using a fingerprint sensor.
The company hopes to ship it during the December holidays.
Mark Zuckerberg said Muse could become the foundation of widely distributed “personal superintelligence.”
Muse runs on a private Muse Secure VM powered by Meta’s Muse Spark model.
Meta announced new Mac computer-use abilities and commerce connections for Muse.
A future Muse Confidential VM is intended to prevent even Meta from accessing user information.
