India's Coffee Exports Hit Record $2 Billion in 2025
India's coffee exports made a lot of money in 2025, reaching over $2 billion for the first time.
This is a big increase from the previous year, even though they sent out less coffee.
The prices for coffee were much higher, so farmers and exporters earned more.
Different types of coffee like Arabica and Robusta had different results.
Arabica did well, but Robusta saw a decrease.
Instant coffee also did well, with more being made and sold.
Italy bought the most coffee from India, but Russia became a big buyer too, pushing Germany to third place.
India is one of the top countries for coffee production and exports.
India's coffee exports reached a record $2.058 billion in 2025, a 22% increase from the previous year.
Despite a 4.5% decrease in export volume to 3.48 lakh tonnes, the value of exports increased due to higher global prices.
Arabica coffee exports increased, with Arabica parchment up 5.5% and Arabica cherry up 47%.
Robusta coffee exports decreased, with Robusta parchment down 1.5% and Robusta cherry down 14%.
Instant coffee production increased by 12% to 46,954 tonnes, and re-exports of instant coffee increased by 2.68%.
