Finland Releases Russia-Linked Ship in Cable Sabotage Case

Finland Releases Russia-Linked Ship in Cable Sabotage Case

Finnish police have released a ship that was being held because it was suspected of damaging an important underwater cable that connects Finland and Estonia.

The police are still investigating, but they decided to let the ship go.

This is part of a bigger problem in the Baltic Sea area, where there have been many problems with cables and pipelines since Russia started a war in Ukraine.

NATO, a group of countries that work together for security, has sent more ships, planes, and drones to the area to help keep it safe.
