Imran Khan's Nephew Granted Bail in May 9 Riots Case
Shershah Khan, who is related to the former leader of Pakistan, Imran Khan, has been allowed to go free on bail by a special court.
He was arrested on accusations connected to protests on May 9.
The court decided there wasn't enough proof against him, and his lawyers argued he was being treated unfairly because of his family ties.
This happened after his brother was also given bail in a similar case.
Human rights groups had earlier spoken out, suggesting the arrests were politically motivated.
Shershah Khan, nephew of Imran Khan, was granted bail by an ATC in Lahore.
The case relates to the attack on a senior military officer's house during the May 9 riots.
Shershah's brother, Shahrez Khan, was granted bail a day earlier in the same case.
His arrest occurred on August 21, after which they were jailed.
The court ordered his release on a PKR 100,000 surety bond.
