Goa Jail's Mobile Charging Points Shock Court

The High Court of Bombay at Goa was very surprised and upset to find out that there were mobile phone charging points inside the jail cells at the Central Jail in Colvale, Goa.

The court said this is a big problem because it means that inmates can use mobile phones, which they should not have.

The court asked the jail authorities to install special devices called jammers to stop mobile phones from working inside the jail.

The court also said that the jail should have cameras to watch the inmates when they come in and when they meet visitors.

The court wants the jail to keep the camera recordings safe.

All of this is to make sure that inmates do not get mobile phones or other illegal things inside the jail.
