Vadodara Bridge: Tanker Removal Underway After Deadly Collapse
A tanker truck has been stuck on a damaged bridge for weeks after the bridge fell down, killing 21 people.
Now, special equipment from a marine company is being used to carefully pull the truck off the bridge.
This equipment is usually used to lift ships and will help to lift the truck up.
The authorities hope to have the truck removed next week and given back to its owner.
At the same time, a special team is investigating if any engineers were responsible for the bridge collapse.
A chemical tanker has been dangling on a collapsed bridge section for three weeks.
Marine salvage equipment is being deployed to remove the tanker.
The equipment includes pneumatic roller bags and hydraulic strand jacks.
The operation is expected to take several days, with retrieval by next week.
